Good morning to all of you, folks!

The Challenge of Time is Working! - Lucky Charms Bring Lucky Day

Hey Folks!

There it is, Finally! Or should I say there THEY ARE. Well, it's kind of...complicated.

Yep, you heard me. I told you I would receive a statue from the Zelda game series but it seems the company that produce those figures made a mistake and send me another one (different) of the same game series.

This is where we start: I received the box at home and the customs fee was way much more as expected. But I don't care at first and bring the package back in my room.

THE box so wanted. 

So I opened the box. God I dare to open it and what is the first thing I saw?....FIRETRUCKING GOD DAMN IT DOUBLE RAINBOW. It's the wrong statue. You know, when it's actually NOT the one you expected, another one you know. I could had stop time right at this very moment and heard my entire body scream.

You know exactly what I mean. Take the feeling of success. Increase it over 9000 times and prepare it to explode in a supernova of full awesomeness. Now, take the exact negative feeling at the same level and put them together. It results into a new natural element = Epic awesome fail.

When I thought my dreams and hope were gone, I lift up the box and I...wait.....is that...HO MY GOD!!??Another box is under it?!

What the firetruck is that?!

Yes sir, there was actually two statues in one package. I checked my bill, my credit card account, on the order I made with the company. Everything said I only bought the skull kid statue (From Majora's mask).

I'm pretty sure you'll be trollin' "Hey men, calm down. It's only 2 freakin' statues, get over it". But hey, I took something wrong, try to apply the challenge of time on it and check how I am rewarded. (Check my first entry to see what is the challenge of time)

I'm pretty glad of this mistake. I'm taking this as an example but seriously, I know this mistake didn't happen because I started to appreciate things more. But this helps to continue that way. As long as I am able to laugh, it will be fine. Please feel free to comment about those beautiful hand-painted statue and everything else you wish to talk about.

Finally! The wait is over!

Like I said previously, my passion on video games and Zelda game series exist since the Nintendo 64 era. I mentionned you about the statues of these series I'm collecting and today is a day to remember. Today represent a 2 months waiting and a new subject to talk you about (later this evening). A new figure as just arrive at home  I'm gonna post some pictures as well. Don't forget to answer the Legendary Poll 1 on the right!!

By the way, Lucky charms really improve your chance of appreciating your day. So I'm one step further in my Challenge of time. Thanks, little green farfadet. DOUBLE RAINBOW ALL THE WAY, IT'S SO INTENSE

Winter Wonderland

Ho, OK wait. I'm looking outside and......does mother nature really drop down all this white snow by herself. It's already hard to wake up soon in the morning (or late in the evening), I just can't get it. She just brings us a beautiful 30 cm of snow in hope that we can play in it, create angel, build an igloo and..NO. Just so you know Mother nature, we have to go to work, it's really likely that you bring us such a gift be we can't actually use so keep for the good moment. Please. Drop bacon instead. People will be more thankful and wars will stop around the globe.

Seriously, I want to try this challenge of time (see the first entry at the bottom) but how can I...kind of appreciate the firetrucking sound of my clock alarm. It sounds like a thousands of autistic squirrels trying to sing "Jingle bells" at the same time. How could I appreciate the fact that I have to boot-force my body to wake up while it natural system is missing 4 hours of sleep? This is what the challenge of time is for. Instead of yelling all the swears god let me know the existence of, I'm gonna try to find a way to actually use and take benefit of been waked up so "morningly".

The awesomeness of being up at this hour is that there is less traffic on roads and you can get your Starbucks coffee a lot faster because you are the guy that's waiting they open the store. You can choose where you wanna sit in the bus because everyone else is SLEEPING. But thanks god, I'm awake before all those lazy people and I can have a particular place in that bus.

You see, on almost every bothering situation we can find a good side to it. It's not always as awesome as eating Lucky Charms but, it's a good start.

What is the challenge of time

So, on that very first really snowy day, I will present you what is the challenge of time. Life's short and everybody knows it. We waste so many time waiting for....almost EVERYTHING. From the girl who serves me my Starbucks to the lineup to heat my diner in the microwave, I always have the feeling that I'm wasting something. And when I'm appreciating what's happening, it seems like a fraction of a seconds.

The challenge is to live at full speed while appreciating E-VE-RY moment. This blog will talk about not only miscellaneous facts and things but about what I am trying to appreciate, to understand and how I try to be a better guy. I will use this blog as a reflecting tool to help me take a step back about what's going on around.

I'm really enjoying the idea of a "Challenge". I'm pretty sure this will lead to something good. No it will not change this world. No this blog will not be popular nor shocking. But it's more like a bottle thrown in the great sea (Wind waker reference, Anybody?) : To the one who opens it, please care and enter the challenge of time. Be part of my legend!

Triforce from the Legend Of Zelda game serie

As you will see through this challenge, I'm a huge fan of the Zelda video games series.  I have a little collection of statues related to several games of this serie and some are on the route to my home. As soon as I receive them and find some time to take some pictures, I'm gonna post them here. My next entries will show you more about this passion.
